642 Tiny Things To Write About: Parking Mistakes

Someone parked his or her car in a way that makes it hard for you to exit your garage. Write a very nice note.

One of my husband’s cousins posted this today, and it’s somewhat indicative of today’s prompt and the new year in general:

“I will not let past failures haunt me. I will admit them. I will correct them. I will rise again. “ Max Lucado

A fault of mine is that sometimes I take actions of other’s far too personally; when an action was far from intentional and came out of a situation that had nothing to do with me.  Like a parking job gone awry that makes it difficult to back my vehicle out of a driveway in the morning.   I need to work on giving people the benefit of the doubt–no one’s perfect and we all have days where parking a car straight into a space is the least of our concerns.   So here’s my nice note:

“This morning you parked your car in a way that made it difficult to back out my vehicle to go to work today.   If you could just park closer your driveway and away from mine it would make it easier for both of us to leave in the morning.  Thanks!
